Country Sisters - Alena (vocal, guitar, keyboards)

Alena attended music school, where she learned guitar and started performing live. She played with the band Amulet, which was founded at the Ciskoteka, and also participated in various national contests. She was given the 2nd prize at the national contest Brana in 2003 and she received the honorary prize as a solist two years later. Alena played either solo or with Amulet at various festivals (such as Folkova Noc), but also at minor events such as Welcome Young Citizens ceremonies. At music school she learned to work in the recording studio and met very nice people she is still in touch with. Later on she started learning keyboards, which she plays also with the Country Sisters. She says she prefers guitar, though. Alena has been in the band since 2007. She has travelled numerous beautiful countries and played at wonderful events and festivals. She studies private business school in Jablonec and Nisou and intends studying at university.
